A Los Angeles native, Minister Robert “Elijah Storm” Daniels practiced singing for hours as a child and taught himself to write songs on the piano which served as an escape from the abuse he suffered at home. After high school, Robert began his career in the 1970’s as a protégé of the legendary Norman Whitfield (Motown), writing hits for top selling groups such as Rose Royce and Lakeside, and continued to land success on the Billboard charts with range of artists including Usher, Robin Thicke, CeCe Peniston, Angie Stone, All 4 One and Mya, and in film and soundtrack including S.W.A.T and The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift. Classically trained with a background in gospel, Robert is known and respected by his peers in the music industry for his signature style of vocal arrangements, freestyle melody writing, and hair-raising harmonic blends. His gift in bringing out the best in the artists he works with sets him apart in an industry where genuine artist development is scarce. Storm’s lyrical contribution, vocal production and delivery evokes impactful emotion and imagery allowing his music to influence millions worldwide.
“The key to longevity in this music industry is making timeless music that people can feel. Music is a universal language that has the power to influence millions of people all over the world. It shapes cultures, tells stories, and inspires greatness. God has blessed me with a great gift, and it is my business to take what he’s given me to share with others so we can impact the world!” +Robert “Elijah Storm” Daniels
